We want Pakistani Christians to have a strong relationship with God and a passion to manifest His love. This is why our teams mobilize local believers through seminars, conferences, discipleship groups, and training programs.
Our media team is working on audio and video resources for kids, youth, and adults so that they will hear about the love of God and understand His truth in a creative and impactful way. We hope to continue making new content which will be available through social media; at present, a team of creators is being trained to do this very work.
The Book Room exists to sharpen the intellect, to strengthen the faith, to protect against apostasy, and to give hope to every believer. Of course, Holy Scripture is the greatest book ever written, and many Bibles are available in our Book Room. Apart from God’s Word, there are hundreds of other books offered, and we hope that by making these resources available, we can promote a culture of reading in our Christian community.
An excellent leader must also be an excellent follower! Those who lead, mentor and disciple must first themselves be discipled and mentored, for a spiritually-healthy leader produces the good fruit of spiritually-healthy disciples. This program is conducted for three months in various cities around Pakistan, and during this time, OMF provides training on a weekly basis, with emphasis placed on the following courses:
Alpha is a vibrant course which seeks to introduce the basics of the Christian faith through a series of talks and discussions. It is described by its organizers as “an opportunity to explore the meaning of life.” Alpha is an 11-week program where participants meet either online or in person. Alpha Training offers an extensive array of knowledge and insights covering a range of specialist subject areas. Please contact us if you require training on a subject that is not listed by Alpha. Our training consultants can customize existing courses or develop fully new courses to meet your specific requirements.
This course is available to Christian girls and women as a tool to help them grow in spiritual formation and disciple-making. This course welcomes women into a safe circle of listening to each other and healing from the pains of life. Participants are given a renewed sense of self-worth and dignity, allowing them to return to their homes and communities as conduits of Jesus’ love and peace..
Discovery Bible Study (DBS) is a simple and effective method of studying the Bible in a small group or one-on-one setting. It focuses on engaging participants in a collaborative exploration of Scripture, encouraging personal discovery, and fostering spiritual growth.
Throughout the year, short-term outreaches are arranged across the country to share the love of God with others. Training conferences are held in cooperation with local churches, and ministry is also done through literature distribution and showing the Jesus film. These outreaches provide opportunities for volunteers to contribute their time, skills, and resources in making a positive impact for the wider Church and community in Pakistan.
Bible Training Camps are held annually in various regions of Pakistan. These camps train men and women to have a strong faith-foundation that can be naturally transmitted to others via a discipling relationship.
Traveling teams are the face of OMF. Currently, we have two teams: one for women and the other for men. These teams are comprised of committed volunteers who are ready to share God’s love with others, and they cast this vision in local churches as well. Through these teams, OMF can reach out to remote areas, build meaningful relationships with other believers, and also extend to these believers an invitation to join us. Furthermore, in times of disaster or crisis, traveling teams can respond quickly to provide emergency relief.
