Children from marginalized brick kiln communities will have the opportunity to receive primary education. This will make it possible for them to pursue higher education and secure quality jobs after completing their schooling. Similarly, the adult literacy courses aim to teach adults from the brick kiln communities basic reading and writing skills so that they can keep records of their wages or loan re-payments. The end result will be a culture of growth and progress within these marginalized communities, because literate bricklayers will be able to break free from generational debt-slavery and transition into higher-paying professions while giving the same opportunity to their children
The training center are meant to empower women and youth by providing them with valuable skills such as sewing and computer proficiency. These skills will allow each individual to either obtain employment, or work from home, with confidence and pride. We also desire for knowledge and experience to be passed on within community. In this way, each woman and youth will have a positive impact on the lives of those around them
Our goal is to empower marginalized communities with education and skills so that they can provide better opportunities for their children. By breaking the cycle of poverty, the next generation will have a brighter future. The literacy classes offered will teach basic reading and writing skills to adults in the community, allowing them to keep track of their wages and loan repayments and protect themselves from fraudulent brick kiln owners.
